The Blood Of Boys And Girls

“Before I formed you in the womb
I knew you;
before you were born
I sanctified you;”
Jeremiah 1:2

Even from conception, before we were ever formed, we were known by our Creator. Every child who has been murdered before birth, each and every one – was known by the One who was forming him/her. How, then, can mortal men so attack the God of Creation, and without pangs of guilt snuff out the life of the child who is being formed in the womb?

“Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed,
and in your book they all were written,
the days fashioned for me,
when as yet there were none of them.”
Psalm 139:16

What about their days written in God’s book?

Someone answer me this:

Why would the violent massacre of six-year-olds be different from the violent massacre of children in the womb? Does age make it less terrible?

In some places “partial birth abortion” is still taking place. That’s the murder of the child when he’s in the process of being born, when pointed scissors are plunged through his neck – the neck of a fully formed little boy or girl. It’s every bit as violent and bloody and awful as the killing of a six or seven or eight-year-old child would be. Why does the murder of the older child seem so much worse?

It isn’t.

God said to Cain, the first murderer, “What have you done??? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.”

And surely, the voice of 70 million little boys and girls cries to the Lord from the ground.

When the judgment of God for these murders strikes the United States of America, multitudes will perish.

Let no one ask “why?”
