“Whoever walks blamelessly will be saved,
but he who is perverse in his ways will suddenly fall.”
Proverbs 28:18
One reason we humans don’t pick up on this principle is that the cause-and-effect doesn’t happen immediately. Psalm 73:2-3

“When I thought how to understand this,
it was too painful for me —
until I went into the sanctuary of God.
Then I understood THEIR END.”
Do not envy the prosperity of the wicked. It’s temporary. Very temporary.
