There Is Only ONE Mediator

“For there is ONE God
and ONE mediator between God and men,
the Man Christ Jesus;”
1 Timothy 2:6
The “offense of the Gospel” is its exclusivity. Many stumble on this, refusing to accept God’s Word which says there is NO other way.
Why is there no other way?
Religions teach that salvation depends on our good versus our bad, and that the way to salvation is by goodness. The problem with this is that it ignores the outstanding issue: our guilt. Nothing stained with the guilt of sin can enter heaven.
THIS is why Jesus Christ came: to bear OUR guilt on himself, to take the judgment in our place – on the Cross. No other religious leader or founder has died in our place, taking upon himself the judgment on our sins. That is why there is ONLY one way. That is why Jesus said:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 14:6
Jesus Christ said that the way to salvation is narrow, and FEW there be who find it (Matthew 7:14). Few are willing to acknowledge their guilt and to submit themselves to him. They prefer teachers who make them feel good. But they don’t address the issue of sin which separates us from God and prevents entry into heaven. Sin HAS to be dealt with.
The Lamb of God was sacrificed for our sin, and his blood alone can cleanse us.
Allah did NOT atone for our sins.
Allah is NOT God, he’s dead.
Mohammed is dead.
Buddha is dead.
Mary, the mother of Jesus, is NOT a mediator, there is ONLY ONE.
Jesus offered himself as the sacrifice for us. But few there be who accept the truth.
