Why There Is No Other Way To God

Jesus Christ:
“This is the stone which was rejected by you builders,
which has become the chief cornerstone.
Nor is there salvation in any other,
FOR THERE IS NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN
given among men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:11-12
In every place and in every age Jesus Christ has been rejected.
“He is despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.”
Isaiah 53:3
“The offense of the Gospel” turns away all those who place their trust in themselves, all who think themselves “good.” He came for those who know they are not “good,” those who know they need a Savior.
Jesus Christ is the rock, the cornerstone, the foundation of salvation, received by the lowly, by the poor, by those willing to forsake pride, by those who care about truth.
Jesus Christ is the Savior God has sent as the atonement for the sins of all who believe. This was the plan of redemption from before the foundation of the world. He and he alone has the power to bring salvation to the lives of those seeking truth, seeking salvation, those willing to receive him.
We are born in a sinful nature and sin will keep us from heaven. That’s why Jesus came – to bear in our place the judgment on our sins. That’s why there can be no other way – no other religious figure took our sins to the cross. No other religious leader bore our guilt. Without the atonement Jesus bore in our place – we would remain in our sins, unable to enter heaven.
There is NO OTHER Savior, no other name, no other religion, no other way.
If there were other way, Jesus’ sacrifice and death would have been unnecessary.
