Israel’s Covenant

“For this is the covenant that I will make
with the house of Israel after those days,
says the Lord: I will put my laws in their mind
and write them on their hearts;
and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
Hebrews 8:10
Some believe that God has forsaken Israel and given to the church the promises that were theirs. It’s called “Replacement Theology” and is taught by several denominations. This heresy is absolutely false. There are countless passages in both the Old Testament and the New which foretell the restoration of the Jewish people in the land of Israel “in the last days.”
Furthermore, that all might know that it’s the Lord doing it, they are being brought back to the land of their fathers in a state of unbelief, so that they will not be able to boast. The Lord said it would happen this way, as foretold by the prophet Ezekiel.
God has NOT forsaken the chosen people. They were put under judgment twice, and this is the second and last time they are being brought back, never to be driven out again. God has shown many more things that will happen before “Joseph” reveals himself to his brothers. But they will be fully restored and their Messiah will surely come, as has been prophesied again and again throughout the Scriptures.
And that is why the enemy is so totally devoted to destroying them and stopping the process, because when this story is complete, it’s the end for Satan and all who follow him.
