God Orders The Steps Of Those Who Are His

“The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord,
and he delights in his way.
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down,
for the Lord upholds him with his hand.”
Psalm 37:23-24

If you belong to the Lord, you can trust that he WILL order your every move.

In times of wondering what to do, pray this: “Lord, close every door you want me not to enter, and open only the one I should go into. Give me a red light or a green light in my heart, that I might know from you what to do.” Then proceed, knowing that he will guide your every step. If you start to go the wrong way, he will put that red light in your heart – that discomfort will signal you to stop.

“These things says he who is holy,
he who is true, he who has the key of David,
he who opens and no one shuts,
and shuts and no one opens…”
Revelation 3:8

Trust in his Word – trust that your steps WILL be ordered by him, even when you don’t understand. He will let nothing come your way except that he has a purpose for it.

This is the freedom the children of God have – that if they have taken every matter to the Lord, they can then proceed knowing that he will guide them even through the most difficult of circumstances, and make everything work out for his/her ultimate good.

“And we know that all things work together for good
to those who love God, to those who are the called
according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28
