“And in every work that he began
in the service of the house of God,
in the law and in the commandment,
to seek his God, he did it with all his heart.
SO he prospered.”
2nd Chronicles 31:21

The most important word in this passage is the word “SO.” SO he prospered.

There are physical laws in nature. If you throw a ball up, it will come down – the law of gravity. The same God has placed spiritual laws as well. If a person wants to succeed, let him FIRST seek God with all his heart.

The Word of God also promises that all needs (not all wants) will be provided to the one whose priority is to seek FIRST the kingdom of God.

“But seek FIRST the kingdom of God
and his righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you.”
Matthew 6:33

Another principle that God has placed in his Word is that when a person is surrendered to the Lord and seeks him first in all that he does, the Lord will DIRECT his path to success.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he shall DIRECT your paths.”
Proverbs 3:5-6

God has placed in his Word his directions for success, and the wise will conduct his life by heeding the counsel God gives. If you seek God first in all of your endeavors and do it with all your heart as unto him, you will prosper. And if you seek the Kingdom of God FIRST, all your needs will be supplied
