Just As I Am

“And it shall come to pass
that whosoever shall call
on the name of the Lord
shall be saved.”
Acts 2:21
Don’t wait until you conquer that one thing in your life that holds you back from God. You’ll never conquer it, and you won’t be saved. Come to him just as you are and surrender yourself and your life to him. Let HIM do the work in you. He understands your fallen human nature. That’s why he died for you.
“This is a faithful saying
and worthy of all acceptance,
that Christ Jesus came into the world
to save sinners, of whom I am chief.”
1st Timothy 1:15
Don’t put it off, bow before him now and receive his salvation. Let him change you – let him do in you what you cannot do in yourself. You will be amazed.
When a person comes to Jesus Christ and accepts him as Lord and savior, that person will be born again – and when that happens, everything changes. You have to experience it to understand.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new.”
2nd Corinthians 5:17
You can’t create yourself into a new creation, only the Spirit of God can do that. You …just come and surrender your life to him. He does the rest.
“Could my tears forever flow,
could my zeal no languor know;
these for sin could not atone,
thou must save and thou alone.
In my hand no price I bring,
simply to thy cross I cling.”
