The Door Has Been Opened

“For we do not have a High Priest
who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses,
but was in all points tempted as we are,
yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly
to the Throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy
and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:15-16

In the Old Testament, only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies which was a room in the depths of the Temple. The room was separated off from the rest of the Temple with a very large and very heavy 30-foot curtain. When Jesus died on Calvary, the Scripture says that that curtain split in two from top to bottom, which meant the way is now open for anyone who wants to enter the Holy Place, in the Name of Jesus – as he says, “therefore, come boldly to the Throne of grace.”

The door is open. Approach the Throne of Grace and bring your cares to the Father there, in Jesus’s name. Let him work it out for you, and truly, truly you as you watch and wait you will rejoice and glorify him for the help and deliverance he will bring to your situation.

“Call upon me in the day of trouble;
I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”
Psalm 50:15
