Being Born Again Changes Everything

“But the natural man does not receive
the things of the Spirit of God,
for they are foolishness to him;
nor can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned.”
1st Corinthians 2:14

The change that the “born again” experience accomplishes in a person is dramatic. One’s entire world view changes under the wisdom of the Spirit of God. Scriptures that made no sense before, suddenly become understandable. The heart is drawn to continuously abide in the presence of the Lord.

The gulf between the born-again person and the “natural man” is profound; the born-again person speaks, as it were, an entirely different language and finds himself unable to communicate with the people of the world except on the most mundane level because one who does not have the Spirit of God lives in an entirely different world. When a person becomes born again, his desires and interests change, not by choice but by the Holy Spirit of God dwelling within. A whole new life opens up for him. Everything is new.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new.”
2nd Corinthians 5:17

We are all born into a fallen human nature, and into a fallen world. That’s why Jesus said you MUST be born again…” (John 3:7)

It’s not a suggestion, it’s the most crucial thing in life. ASK for it!
