“The people who sat in darkness
have seen a great light, and upon those
who sat in the region and shadow of death
light has dawned.”
Matthew 4:16

Truly this has to be experienced to be appreciated. Many believers, when we look back to the days before our “born-again” experience, marvel at the total change that the born-again experience brought. I can say that truly I was in darkness, and now stand amazed at the light that dawned. On the day I was born again, it was as though someone flipped a switch and suddenly, I “saw.” It changed everything. Forever. Praise to our God forever and ever!

“He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock,
established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth,
praise to our God;
many will see it and fear,
and will trust in the Lord.”
Psalm 40:2-3

Amen!

If you are in darkness turn to Jesus Christ, the One who is light itself. Ask him to take over your life, be willing to surrender all to him, and you will witness a change in yourself that you will hardly be able to believe. And you too will praise him forever!
