Put Your Trust In The Only Reliable Place

“Give us help from trouble,
for the help of man is useless.
Through God we will do valiantly,
for it is HE who shall tread down our enemies.”
Psalm 108:12-13

When we have a problem, our first attempt to deal with it is usually to turn to people for advice or help. Even if they are loved ones or trusted friends, the advice of man is often faulty. As good as their intentions may be, no one knows the situation well enough to give the right advice, because they do not have the depth of perspective that only God has.

How much different our lives would be if we would turn to HIM FIRST for help. The one who created you is the one most trustworthy to turn to. It is HE who brought you into the world. He says he knows the numbers of hairs on your head. He knows you far more intimately than your family and friends do, and he has a perspective about your life that they aren’t aware of. Repent of trust in man, place your faith in God whose plan for your life is of utmost importance. Seek to know what that plan is, and how to embrace it.

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses,
but we will remember the Name of the Lord our God.”
Psalm 20:7
