How does one become Godly?

First, by knowing the truth.

How does one know the truth?

By knowing the Word of God.

If one does not know the Word of God, he will not know the truth; then his knowledge will come from the world, from the media, from movies, from tv, from college professors, from worldly counselors – all of which create a very erroneous picture – in opposition to truth.

Why would one seek knowledge from one of these – which are known to be sources of deception? And if you doubt that, then explain the godless mindset of the current generation.

The mindset of the world is to foster pride – which they call self-esteem because that sounds better – and to foster the attitude, “if it feels good, do it.” The mindset of the world demands tolerance, acceptance of evil, and rejection of anyone or anything that opposes the world’s mindset. And no surprise, for Satan is “the god of this world,” 2^nd Corinthians 4:4.

Why would anyone go the way of deception?

Because they have chosen to put their trust in the philosophies of the world, and to reject the Word of God. You can’t have it both ways, they contradict each other.

“For the wisdom of this world is FOOLISHNESS with God…”
1st Corinthians 3:19

If that’s what a person wants, then let them go for it. But they will pay the consequences later.

If you want to know the truth, immerse yourself in the Word of God.

Jesus said, “I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life.”
John 14:6

He is the foundation of solid rock. All else is a foundation of sand.
