“…His divine power has given to us all things
that pertain to life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him
who called us by glory and virtue,
by which have been given to us
exceedingly great and precious promises,
that through these you may be partakers
of the divine nature, having ESCAPED the corruption
that is in the world through lust.”
2nd Peter 1:3-4

Escape?

How?

We attain to this “through the knowledge of him.”

There are two ways to enter into this knowledge. First, by daily immersing ourselves in the Scriptures which are the source of all this knowledge, and second, by spending time with the Lord in prayer.

God has given us 24 hours each day. If Jesus rose each morning and went aside to enter into prayer, how much more do we need to? Yes, need. It can make all the difference in the world.

in neglect of morning prayer.”
