For Everything There Is A Time

“Therefore they sought to take him,
but no one laid a hand on him,
because his hour had not yet come.”
John 7:30
The context here is the anger of the Pharisees against Jesus, and their plan to take and crucify him. They would have, except that it wasn’t the time, the time set by the Father.
“To everything there is a season,
a time for every purpose under heaven:”
Ecclesiastes 3:1
Time can be an enemy. Many people get discouraged when they’ve prayed for loved ones without apparent success. If there’s one thing Satan can use against a believer, it’s discouragement. Many give up because they’ve prayed long and hard but nothing happens. What they don’t realize is that In many cases it’s simply a matter of timing.
All answered prayer has a date and time to it. If your loved one is set to come to the Lord on January 10, 2025, there is no possibility that he/she will come on January 9. The hope in heaven is that you will not stop praying and believing that the answer will come.
God hears and answers prayer. When one begins intercession for someone or something, the prayer ascends to God and is as incense before him.
“…the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb,
each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense,
which are THE PRAYERS of the saints.”
Revelation 5:8
Friends, there is a TIME set for everything. And if you refuse discouragement, you WILL see the answers to your prayers. Do NOT give up.
