In Hebrew there are no vowels. The words “Philistine” and “Palestine” are the same in Hebrew, the root of these words is the same root. Philistia, Philistines, Palestinian, same word – denoting the enemies of Israel forever wanting her destruction.

Islam is the ancient hatred for the Jews. That hatred causes them to boast of how they will destroy the Jews and drive them into the sea. Because of a little piece of land the size of New Jersey? Yet Israel is surrounded by massive countries who really couldn’t care less about the land – they only want one thing – the destruction of Israel.

Islam has completely surrounded Israel. Never has Israel been in such danger as she is today, facing even the threat of a nuclear attack. But throughout her history, Israel has always been up against a Goliath, placed in impossible situations, but they have always had the victory because the God of Israel is their defense.

vs 32:
“What will they answer the messengers of the nation?
That the LORD has founded Zion,
and the poor of HIS PEOPLE shall take refuge in it.”
