Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet

Do Not Toy With The Living God

“…the Word of God came to John the son of Zacharias
in the wilderness.
And he went into all the region around the Jordan,
preaching a baptism of repentance
for the remission of sins,
as it is written in the book of the words of
Isaiah the prophet, saying:
‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.’”
Luke 3:2-4

This is happening in our generation too. The Word of God has come to many and they have gone forth preaching repentance, preparing the way of the Lord because the time is short.

This is as unique a generation as the time of John the Baptist was, a time of warning, a time of calling men to repentance, especially as we see the signs of “the last days” so obviously upon us, leading up to the “great Tribulation” which will see the awful wrath of God poured out upon a Christ-rejecting world.

The call is going out everywhere, “come to repentance, surrender your life to Christ, taste the joy of salvation, for the time is short.”

“Today, if you will hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.”
Hebrews 4:7

If the Spirit of God is drawing you to Christ, do not think to refuse him now so that you can enjoy sin for a season. You may not have time to take that chance. If you refuse him when he comes to you, he may never come back and you will be lost.

Do not toy with the living God. Surrender yourself and your life to him. He will give you a whole new life. Your entire destiny will be changed. You will never regret it.

Come now!
