Some Satanists don’t believe in Satan at all. Others worship him as Lucifer.

I’ve always wondered how they arrive at the conclusions they do. Obviously, Satan, or Lucifer, is a created being.
So why would they choose a created being rather than the one who created him? They’ve been led unaware by …lies.

The Creator gave us a book, his Word, which tells us all we need to know about Satan.

. SATAN IS A LIAR

“When he speaks a lie,
he speaks from his own resources,
for he is a liar and the father of it.”
John 8:44

. HE IS “THE GOD OF THIS WORLD”

“But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
whose minds THE GOD OF THIS WORLD has blinded…”

2nd Corinthians 4:3-4

Once we understand that, a whole lot of things make sense.

. THIS WORLD IS THE WORLD OF WICKEDNESS

“We know that we are of God,
and the whole world lies in wickedness.”
1st John 5:19

. HE SEEKS TO DEVOUR WHOMEVER HE CAN

“Be sober, be vigilant, because
your adversary the devil
walks about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour.”
1st Peter 5:8

. CONTRAST HIS AIMS WITH THE AIMS OF JESUS CHRIST

“The thief does not come except to steal,
and to kill, and to destroy.
I have come that they may have life,
and that they may have it more abundantly.”
John 10:10

. SATAN’S END ALONG WITH HIS FOLLOWERS

“The devil, who deceived them,
was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone
where the beast and the false prophet are.
And they will be tormented day and night
forever and ever.”
Revelation 20:10

vs 15:
“And anyone not found written in the Book of Life
was cast into the lake of fire.”

There is an eternity of regret for all who followed him.
