Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet

Behold I Tell You A Mystery

“Behold, I tell you a mystery:
we shall not all sleep (die),
but we shall all be changed,
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye,
at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound,
and the dead will be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption,
and this mortal must put on immortality.”
1st Corinthians 15:51-53

We shall not all die…

There is a generation that will be alive when the trumpet sounds, when Jesus Christ will come for those who belong to him. They will suddenly be taken up in the Rapture, removed from this earth before the great Tribulation begins.

At that moment, believers will be “changed” from mortal to immortal, and the great reunion will take place in heaven. Can you imagine the excitement!

Many believers are especially excited now because the signs of “the last days” are all here, and we know the Rapture may be imminent. Especially now as the world grows more and more evil, the believer LONGS for that day! And as more and more loved ones pass into eternity, the knowledge of the soon-coming reunion is the greatest comfort the heart can receive.

“For the Lord himself will descend from heaven
with a shout, with the voice of an archangel,
and with the trumpet of God.
And the dead in Christ will rise first.
Then we who are alive and remain
shall be caught up together with them in the clouds
to meet the Lord in the air.
And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”
1st Thessalonians 4:16-17

vs 18:
“Therefore …COMFORT one another with these words!” We could not comfort one another if we were to stay for even the least of the terrible events of the Tribulation.

Do you belong to Jesus Christ? Don’t miss this.
