“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him,
on those who hope in his mercy,
to deliver their soul from death,
and to keep them alive in famine.
Our soul waits for the Lord,
he is our help and our shield.
For our heart shall rejoice in him,
because we have trusted in his holy Name.”
Psalm 33:18-21

Regardless what events take place in our lives, those who have surrendered their lives to the Lord and who have trusted in his holy Name will know rejoicing. God is so personal, so attuned to the cries of our hearts. When he finds a heart totally committed to him, he will move heaven and earth to pour out his blessings upon him. Sometimes he will deliver from trouble, other times he will walk with one through it. But come what may, they will rejoice in his love forever.
