What child is this, who, laid to rest,
On Mary’s lap is sleeping?
Whom angels greet with anthems sweet
While shepherds watch are keeping?
This, this is Christ the king,
Whom shepherds guard and angels sing;
Haste, haste to bring Him laud,
The babe, the son of Mary!

Why lies He in such mean estate
Where ox and ass are feeding?
Good Christian, fear; for sinners here
The silent Word is pleading.
Nails, spear shall pierce Him through,
The cross be borne for me, for you;
Hail, hail the Word made flesh,
The babe, the son of Mary!

Indeed, what Child is this?

According the prophet Isaiah who spoke of him centuries before he was born:

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given;
and the government will be upon his shoulder.
And his name will be called:
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6

This CHILD is the mighty God – El Gibor.

This CHILD is the eternal Father – Avi Ad.

Jesus Christ, born in Bethlehem, is the mighty God and the Eternal Father!

Thus is established the deity of Jesus Christ. Yeshua the Messiah.
