Jesus “CAN’T” Come Until…???

False Teaching:

Dominionism claims that Jesus CANNOT return until all His enemies have been put under the feet of the Church.

The Truth:

”Then comes the end, when HE delivers the kingdom to God the Father,
when HE puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.
For HE must reign till HE has put all enemies under HIS feet.”
1st Corinthians 15:24-25

False Teaching:

His coming is not at an appointed time ordained by God, but he must wait for the subduing of the world by the Church.

Truth:

He IS coming at an appointed time:

“Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying,
‘Lord, will YOU at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?’
And He said to them, ‘It is not for you to know times or seasons
which the Father has put in His own authority.’” (Not ours!)
Acts 1:6-7

There is a set time for Christ to come and restore all. That time hasn’t come yet:

“…that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before,
whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things…”
Acts 3:20-21

False Teaching:

The saints will be giving the cleansed kingdom to Christ so he can come.

The Truth:

The saints won’t be giving the cleansed kingdom to Christ, no, HE will give the kingdom to us when he comes!

Vs 26-27:
“But the court shall be seated,
and they shall take away his (the Antichrist’s) dominion,
to consume and destroy it forever.”
THEN the kingdom and dominion,
and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven,
shall be given to the people, the saints of the Most High.
His kingdom (Christ’s) is an everlasting kingdom,
and all dominions shall serve and obey Him.”
