The Catholic Church And The ‘Sacrifice’ Of The Mass

“The Perpetual Sacrifice Of The Mass”

It’s heresy. There Is No “Perpetual Sacrifice.”

There is no longer a need for priests, because the one perfect High Priest has come, and he lives forever so he will never be replaced.

“there were many priests, because they were prevented
by death from continuing.
But he, because he continues forever,
has an unchangeable priesthood.”
Hebrews 7:23-24

The Church of Rome established the “perpetual sacrifice of the Mass” in total contradiction to the Scriptures:

In the Roman Catholic church they perform the ritual of “the mass” daily. They call it “the perpetual SACRIFICE of the mass.” What heresy! What an insult to the finished work Jesus accomplished on that cross, “ONCE FOR ALL!”

Jesus is not crucified every day in the “mass.” He was sacrificed “ONCE FOR ALL when he offered up himself.” (Hebrews 7:27) He is no longer sacrificed because the sacrificial Lamb of God did die, and then he rose from the dead.

“For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; not that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another – he then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, he has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many.” (Hebrews 9:24-27)

“We have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
Hebrews 10:10

vs 14: “For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.”

IT IS FINISHED!
