Seek To Know Your Purpose

“So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”
Psalm 90:12
A person who has the wisdom to number his days, who truly understands the shortness of this life in comparison to the one to come, this person will seek to know God, to find the truth, and to discover the will of God in his/her life. Wisdom is investing here for one’s life there.
Greater wisdom is to seek revelation from God on how to do it. For each person it will be different. Each one has a unique makeup, a unique gifting, a unique call, and a unique purpose, which can only be embraced through prayer, asking God to reveal what HIS plan and desire is for one’s life.
God’s plan for your life may be far different from what you think. Take the challenge and seek to find out and embrace God’s unique plan for your life. Only in fulfilling God’s plan for one’s life can one attain to the ultimate satisfaction that comes from accomplishing what was planned for him. And then the tremendous joy will come when he arrives in heaven and hears:
“Well done, good and faithful servant;
you have been faithful over a few things,
I will make you ruler over many things.
Enter into the joy of your lord.”
Matthew 25:23
